MOL’s priority is the safety of its seafarers, customers’ cargoes and the vessels. We have suspended all transits through the Straits of Hormuz and ordered the vessel to wait in a safe area.​

We are closely monitoring the situation with our Safety Operation Supporting Center that operates 24/7.​

For employees including seafarers working in the Middle East or travelling on business we are closely following government guidelines and safety protocols and are keeping in touch with those on the ground.
